LEARN THE HISTORY OF OUR STORY

We are a team of creatives that are full of crazy ideas, but this project may have taken the cake! The “Old City Hall” was originally  built in 1910 and reimagined in 2018 through thousands of Pinterest “pins” and an awesome construction team.

City Halls are the heart of the city. They are where business gets done, water-cooler discussions happen and parks and rec activities are planned. They can even be the site for community activities like Jazzercise and Boy/Girl Scouts! AND. . . they are where weddings happen.  Well. . . . throw in some local craft beers, awesome cocktails and great food and you have CITY BREW HALL! 

Our food is a mashup of neighborhood pub meets supper club. We pride ourselves on not taking short cuts in the kitchen–just like our Grandmas. With 24 beer taps we love bringing in new local brews (and hometown legend Mark Stutrud’s Summit beer of course)  and our mixologists are masters at creating the perfectly balanced cocktails.  One of the definitions of “brew” is “multiple things coming together to make a more potent whole” and this is exactly how we see our team who all contribute their craft to culinary arts at City Brew Hall!

We love being the place where you can come to unwind, meet some friends, listen to some great music or participate in one of our many events (can we please resume Jazzercise yet?). We are throwing a neighborhood party in the heart of the city
and you’re invited!

HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE TWIN TOWNS

City Brew Hall is located downtown Wahpeton, ND the home of  North Dakota’s Culinary School. Breckenridge, MN is just a hop skip and jump over the bridge. These twin towns are in the heart of the prairie,  boasting the most beautiful sunsets, northern lights and of course the world’s largest catfish (totally instagram worthy). Whether you call this place home or you have no ties to the area, these twin towns are a perfect destination location for day tripping or any type of event. Located a short 45 minute commute from downtown Fargo (even Uber accessible), it is the perfect escape of the busy city where you can unwind, visit the local shops and pubs, explore bike paths along the river and tour the only zoo around with 2 white rhinos! We can’t wait to curate the perfect small town experience for you and your guests.
